Preliminary Ranking of “Future School for Ukraine” Announced

The “Future School for Ukraine” competition has announced its preliminary rankings following the Public Procurement Commission’s access to the code details of submitted proposals on July 24, 2024.The Lithuanian initiative, aimed at gaining the best adaptive project design to build schools in war-torn Ukraine, has garnered significant international interest. The accessing codes procedure revealed a diverse array of countries that took part in the contest. Architects from Italy, Finland, Portugal, the UK, Lithuania, Japan, Germany, and France united their efforts with Ukrainian colleagues to create innovative projects. The variety of architectural firms participating in the contest reflects the global commitment to supporting Ukraine’s educational sector.

Upon verifying the compliance of the design proposals with the competition requirements, the Procurement Committee will finalize the ranking of the proposals and inform the participants of the outcome. The final rankings and winners are expected to be announced by the end of August, contingent on the timely submission of requested information by participants.
